Rogue Lacquer Open Water | Polish Pickup April 2020 | Aquatic Wonder

It's the final countdown to Polish Pickup! Today I am sharing the polish offering from Rogue Lacquer. If you are looking for a springtime staple shade, do I have good news for you!

(promotional samples ahead)

This is a robin's egg blue cream-jelly filled with bright red-pink metallic flakes. It is so good. In fact, it is so good that I attempted to make it way back in 2014. Let me be clear, however: my version was not made well. My franken attempts were here for a good time, not a long time. But I loved the combo of aqua and pink so much. SO MUCH.  When I first saw spoilers of this shade, I was very excited...and it does not disappoint. The color is annoying to photograph, however. Know that this is less green than China Glaze For Audrey, but it is similar.

Thankfully the formula is 10,000 times better than For Audrey, and at least 703 times better than my Wet'n'Wild fueled frankenpolish. It is a proper cream-jelly, and is smooth and easy to apply. I used two coats followed by a layer of Cuticula Limitless for these pictures.
