Cuticula Candy Crush

Cuticula is famous for her shredded toppers. Somehow she has managed to figure out how to make these shreds lay down and behave in a nail polish, which is a pretty impressive feat. Candy Crush is one of my favorite shredded toppers, and I love these pictures. Also, I miss my long nails. A bunch.

Candy Crush is like a jewelry box exploded. Pinks, cool reds, blues, greens, violets...and holo. For me it is just the right density of flakes. I used one coat, without any dabbing or floofing, for these pictures. I don't like to have to use a sponge to get a decent layer of glitter or flakes. That is one of the reasons I am a fan of Cuticula's toppers.

I layered one coat of Candy Crush over a single coat of Coconut Milk Sorbet. I didn't use a topcoat here, but I think I would next time. In fact, I think this would be a good time for the "Gelous Sammich" to come in. 

(in case you are new: Gelous Sammich is generally a layer of QDTC + Gelous base coat + QDTC. Gelous is available from Sally's and it is the best at giving your regular manicure a gel-like depth)
