Cuticula Blue Velvet | Swatches & Nail Art

I am doing more harddrive clearing! And it is more Cuticula goodness. I feel awful about not sharing this on the blog before...my poor blog has been abandoned for far too long. 2021 will hopefully bring some changed, this blog revival among them!

Blue Velvet is a crazy-opaque, deep, almost dusty blue stamping cream. It is a beautiful option for all Whovians out there looking for a good blue. I think I need to do a comparison of this and Pretty Serious Type 40, which is/was my favorite Whovian blue cream. The formula on this, like other Cuticula stamping creams, is great. You can use one layer as a regular manicure, like I did below, or stamp with it.

I used one coat here followed by a layer of Limitless Top Coat.

Whenever I would swatch Cuticula, I would always feel the pull for something oceany. This manicure was no different. I really like the monochrome look of the blue on blue here. And I used Limitless again because without it I cannot get my stamping to not smear.

This particular shade is out of stock, but I would check back often because restocks happen!
