Kathleen & Co ♥ Cuticula | Mandalorian Inspired Duo

I have a delightful duo from Cuticula and Kathleen & Co to share today! These two unique shades were inspired by the smash Disney show The Mandalorian. Which I have not seen yet. I know, I know. But the apocalypse is long, and I will definitely get there. At least I know what to wear on my nails for the marathon binge session!

(promotional samples ahead)

Kathleen & Co Little Green Child | three coats
This is a pale green aqua kinda-jelly polish with a delicate lavender to aqua shimmer. It is delicate and feminine and wonderful for springtime. In life it is fairly dynamic, and shows its full spectrum without too much extra effort. Unfortunately I couldn't get the full powder of the shift in pictures...but I promise it is there.

This is described as a "cream". I don't think I can agree with that. It isn't as plush as a typical jelly, but it behaves as one. It also layers pretty nicely over black, and I bet a good seafoam cream would be great too. Maybe something like China Glaze For Audrey?

Cuticula This is The Way | two coats
This one is a deep, vampy polish swirling with red glitter, flakes and a soft holo shine. The base is a warm black and functions like a more opaque jelly. Some of the flakes are reading gold in photos, but they look more platinum in real life. I think this would be a great summer nights color. It is the right amount of sparkle and moodiness for sitting around a bonfire. You know, once the apocalypse is over.

I tested it out with my flash, because my camera has a bit of trouble with darker shades like this. You can see that lively red twinkle well in the flash shot, and you will get that in real life too. There is a lot of twinkle for a shade this deep.

I would stick to coats that are on the lighter side of medium for this polish. I had no problem with opacity regardless of my coat thickness, but I like the way the tips behave with light-medium coats.

This duo will be available in the Cuticula shop on 15 MAY at 8am Pacific time. Be there or be square.
