2019 has been a year of trying to find my center. 2018 threw me for a bit of a loop, with some highs and lows both personally and professionally. I felt adrift, and lost my love for nails. I decided that this year would be the year that I did art for me. Unfortunately, that means I don't always write down what I used!
I think I used Tassel from Pretty Serious...but I don't quite remember. There was a lovely collection of neutrals and nudes that was released before the fall and I grabbed a couple of them during the first clearance run. I know I stamped with a couple Maniology/Bundlemonster shades...and I think I used a MoYou plate. But again, this has been sitting on my computer for a few months...so I am not sure. I know, I know.
I do remember that I used a clear stamper, and it turned out ok...until I applied my topcoat. Then I smeared it. Like a jerk.
Have you lost your mojo when it comes to nails and art? What are you doing, if anything, to grab it back?
I am hoping 2020 will be good for me and everyone :-D
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice mani, not a nude fan but loving the stamping :-D
I go in phases where I feel really inspired and excited and then I'll just feel "blah" for a while. I try not to get down on myself about those blah periods and knowing that other's struggle with this is so tremendously helpful with that! I know that I'm only one follower, but if you post once a week, once a month, or once a year, I'll still be happy to see your blog pop up in my email!
ReplyDeletep.s. I've started taking quick pics of all the products I use, just in case I don't get around to posting something for a while, I will have a reminder of what I used. :D
