Hello from the very center of the Sun! Ok, well not quite but it feels like it around here. At least my nails are pretty these days? Bee's Knees makes some pretty polishes, even when some idiot who is totally not me doesn't remember that they are magnetic until you see an old post in some FB group even when you don't bust out the magnets.
This is a lovely green-facing multichrome filled with complementary flakes. I bought this three-hundred years ago, and as it isn't marked on the bottle (come on, Nail Polish Makers, label your special polishes!) so I didn't remember that it was a magnetic. Which is why it just looks like a pretty, shimmery green. I still like it, but I am kinda annoyed with it right now. Not annoyed enough to not wear it, but just enough to waggle a multichrome finger.
It also seemed to not play nicely with my regular Gelous + Seche Vite combo. It definitely shrunk a bit on a few nails. I can see it mostly on my pinky and ring finger. It wasn't bad but it was unexpected. I am not sure if that is why I had chips after a few days...but I can't discount it.
Doesn't matter. Shiny things. 9/10 would wear again...even without the magnet.
How do you mark your special polishes? Do you write on the label or on the cap? I usually say "oh I'll remember" but apparently I won't.
I believe she does label all her magnetics now. Several of mine have a sticker on the side. Not sure where she puts it on her new bottles though

DeleteI have a label printer and put a "MAG" or "THERMAL" tag on those polishes because I keep them segregated in my collection (thermals always stay down my basement where the temperature is stable year-round.)
