Another blog post? Who even am I anymore? Today I have 3Cheers4Ears on the blog with a pair of radical t-shirt clips for this months Indie Pickup experience.
(promotional samples ahead)
Remember waaaay back when? We all had these giant, oversized, slouchy AF t-shirts? They were ridiculous to walk in and pretty much obliterated any shape you might have had. So someone came up with the idea of tieing up one side...and a trend was born. I had a metric ton of these things, in every color imaginable. Neons were my preferred, but I also had a fancy dress shirt clip that was shiny black plastic with genuine rhinestones embedded in it. Because I was fancy. To. The. Max.
But any sort of fashion I might have attempted can never compare to the faaaashion of my youngest human. She doesn't do fashion. She is fashion. I convinced her to let me try more modern ways to wear the shirt clips. My personal favorite is as a scarf clip/pin.
...but we tried a little bit of everything...
But her favorite way is the original way. She definitely was "feeling herself" for these shots.
a little 80s edit. For science.
This is a set of two clips, as shown here. They will run you $5 for the pair, and they are a steal at thrice the price. There is no cap on these little chunks of nostalgia, and they'll be available all weekend from The Indie Pickup.
I actually really like these and it's such a treat to have them available for this months PPU. I never thought of using them with a scarf and I LOVE it, thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteno problem! I think they are superfun, and I hope they make a comeback!
