It is Polish Pickup time again! This month the theme is Duos & Pairs, which means our favorite makers are pairing up to create some amazingly cohesive items. Possibly my favorite is this pairing between Polished for Days and Cuticula! These two unabashed Disney fangirls have whipped up the most epic tribute to the happiest place on earth...and if you can only get one pair this month, let it be this one.

Cuticula Wonderstruck top coat in Dole Whip scent | two coats
This is a glossy top coat filled with randomly sized bright, warm gold flakes. I swear that I see a few coppery flakes in there...but either way, I really like the effect. This particular top coat is pineapple scented as a nod to the famous frozen dessert treat available at Disneyland. I managed to grab one when I was there last time...and if you love pineapple then you definitely need to try it once.
This one is a warm shimmering purple to blue sea of microflakes in a deep, inky violet base. It has a well-rounded multichrome shift, and it looks JUST like the night sky when you apply a magnet. I used the arc magnet from Lantern & Wren (which is also available in PPU this month) which gives me the reversed effect of your typical bar magnet. It was the perfect effect for this polish, I think. You gotta see the two together to get what I mean...
Once you put these two together, the real magic happens. They are perfection together! You know what they remind me of the most? The scene from Tangled when they let those glowing golden lanterns into the sky...this looks like tiny points of candlelight drifting across a twilight sky. I liked this so much that I actually wore this for a whole week after these pictures! I know, right?
You can grab the Cuticula Wonderstruck Top Coat this weekend in the Polish Pickup for $9. There is also the surprise addition of the Silk Base Coat in the same scent, so you can double down on the pineapple.
You can grab the Polished for Days this weekend too, for $12.50. It doesn't come with a magnet, but there are multiple magnets available this weekend...so grab a few and experiment!
