Everyone knows Tonic Nail Polish, right? I sure hope so, they have become a force of nature in the indie polish community in the last few years. And of course, with great success comes detractors. And complainers. And whiny babies. But sometimes, these things spawn something fun.
If you're on the book of faces and involved in the indie polish world, then you know about Acetone Alley. It is often a healthy outlet for shit-talking and a good place to air grievances. There is an anonymous feature which has actually been really beneficial to the community as a whole...but it does draw some toxic bitches. I forget the exact post (poor Tonic, there have been a ton), but someone was whining about something and I said something along the lines of "Its a TONICSPIRACY". Ms Lindsey loved that word so much that it spawned a glaringly pink polish. And she sent one my way as a thanks for the word.
