Even though I blog a lot of upcoming releases for Polish Pickup, I still buy a fair amount every month. This is one of my purchases from way back in January 2018...and I am sad it took me so long to break it out.
This is a deep shimmering fuchsia drowning in shifting duochrome shimmer and a dusting of holo. I almost want to call this a multichrome, because you really do see a ton of faces in this one. It is a little bit brushstroke-prone, and I might sponge on an extra layer next time...but it is so lovely, I'm not super bothered. It is a bit thick and slightly sheer on the first coat, but the second coat goes on creamy and opaque. I followed it all with a layer of Seche Vite and called it a day.
In the macros, you can see what I was talking about with both the brushstrokes and the duochrome. The shimmer shifts from aqua to icy blue...all the way to warm red violet. But maaan. That shift, though.
The tl;dr is that I am not even a little bit sorry I grabbed this one. It is really right in my wheelhouse as far as colors, and the formula is good for when my nails are a little longer. Have you tried any Quixotic Polishes?
by far one of the most beautiful purple I have seen recently
