Pahlish is swinging for the fences in this months Polish Pickup. The theme this month is Video Games, so you know I was excited to see the pretty things that came around. And when you give me something neon and UV reactive...I'm a happy camper.
(promotional samples ahead)
This is a brilliant neon citron jelly filled with iridescent flakes and aurora pigments and magic and hopes and dreams. It was slightly thick, but still easy to apply and I did minimal cleanup here. I used three thin coats, but I think two medium coats would be good for day-to-day wear. My lights are stupid bright and see through everything. I topped it with my regular Seche Vite and I was a sparkly, shiny, slightly-eye-searing happy camper.
This polish was inspired by Yoshi, our favorite snail-eating dinosaur, and Yoshi's Island. I missed out on a huge swath of Nintendo games (my husband reminds me of this often) and I am not super familiar with this game. My kids tell me this is pretty awesome. And check out this wonderful piece of fan art by Mr. Pahlish himself!
As promised, here is the UV shot! Get yourself a blacklight and party. Also, a blacklight reveals all your sins. You can tell how easy this was to apply by how very little neon is on my skin and cuticles.
and a live swatch, just for you!
