It has been far too long since I have had Literary Lacquers on the blog. I am so glad that Amy is getting back into the polish game. I have missed her polishes dearly. Today I have a lovely little trio inspired by everyones (or else) favorite movie.
(promotional samples ahead)
Princess Buttercup | three coats
This is a milky pink jelly/cream hybrid filled with pink metallic glitters and occasional crystalline flakes. It reminds me of strawberry milk, which is the king of all Quik flavors. It dries lovely and matte, and I've shown it here topcoat free.
Mawage | two coats over Princess Buttercup
This glitter topper is what Ms Amy excells at. It's a sparkling collection of holo glitters in a crystal clear base. There are heart shaped metallic holo glitters, but my bottle got a little stuck (thanks suprise cold weather). Even upending my bottle didn't loose them. I think I need to take a pin and give them a stir. I had to fish the hearts out, but I actually don't mind that. I prefer to place larger glitters like this by hand.
The Man in Black | three coats
This is my favorite. Its an inky black jelly filled with rose metallic glitters. It's like a night sky...but red. This one dries matte too, but I prefer it with the glossy topper. It's a very sophisticated vamp.
And of course, I'm still doing videos!
These polishes are available right now in the Literary Lacquers shop. It's almost Valentine's Day, you deserve a little treat!
