Baroness X Champagne Pop | Polish Pickup December 2017 | Holidays Around the World

Day Three of our Polish Pickup madness! I'm super stoked today to share this polish from Baroness X! Not only is she one of my dearest pals, but I love neutrals like normal people love puppies and kittens.

"Champagne Pop is a very silvery holo with pink to gold shifting glass microflakies, gold holo microglitter and metallic gold flakies." That is how Ms. Demi describes this beauty. Normally, I like to put things in my own words...but, shit man. That is spot-on. I don't know if I would call it silver immediately, it reads much closer to taupe on me. I love it. LOVE IT. I am a sucker for neutrals, and this one is right up my alley. Its more opaque that the original BX neutral, and way more sparkly. It is more neutral than Pink Champagne from last year, and the glitter is a lot more subdued. The stellar formula is similar, though. I used two coats plus a nice layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.

If you turn the lights down a little (candle light, maybe? I used my garage lights instead of my studio lights.) you see that warm flush, and the gold flakes begin to sizzle. I love the many faces here.
