Reptilian Stamping Nail Art

Sometimes you want to do something a little...left of center. But you don't always know what. At least, thats whay happens to me. I had this sexy shimmery shade from CrowsToes Nail Color, and I knew I needed something fun to show it off. A regular swatch just won't cut it here.

First off, lets talk about that CT topper. You could, I suppose, wear it alone, but I love it over colors. I used the Turquesa as my accent nail and the CT looks amazing over black and the pale turquoise. I used one coat, brushed on like normal, and it just comes alive.

Next, let's have a quickie review of that Turquesa. It is from and indie brand called Moonflower, and it was my first from the brand. I really like it. It was a tiny bit thick as a normal polish (duh) and it stamped like a champ. I love how perfectly creamy and opaque it is, and I will definitely be checking out others from the brand.

I had no direction when I started this, and I just love the pretty-creepy destination. That green glowing shift in the CrowsToes shade just gives an otherwordly glow to the most basic of creams. I can't wait to do more things with it. If you want to check out this shade, or the others in this collection, the CrowsToes shop is open every weekend!

  5. I was so sad when M Polish closed so Moonflower has been a great substitute. Both makers are from the same polish group so it was great to support one after another. Love this look!
