Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer makes good brights. If you don't believe me, take a browse through the brands previous offerings here on the blog. If its bright and fun, Ms. 77NL has done it at least twice. This hot little trio is no exception.

Hot Summer Nights
This is a cool teal with teeny tiny iridescent flakes. It is subtle in pictures, but in real life it is just the right bit of shimmer and life to make you waggle your fingers in the sunshine. The formula is smooth and a little squishy, which just gives a glow to the finished product. I used three thin coats here followed by a layer of Seche Vite.
So, I'm calling it: guava is the color of Summer 2017. There are so so many juicy guava tinted shades coming out this year, and this might be one of the best. It is a simple, creamy, almost jelly shade that is surprisingly flattering on my skintone. If you are a coral-lover but have a hard time finding just the right shade, you should add this one to your list. I used two medium coats here plus a layer of Seche Vite.
Summer Storm over Summer Daze
What is a hot summer collection without a little glitter? Bonus points if it is holo and full of lightning bolts. This holo topper is just fun. The holo brushes on easy and even, but I did have to fish for the lightening bolts. For this manicure, I brushed the holo sparkle on like normal, then I sponged on the bolts. I followed it up with a layer of Seche Vite, and I was ready to dazzle.
This trio was available for preorder in early July, so you should be seeing yours soon if you managed to grab it. Otherwise I suggest begging Ms. 77NL in her fangroup for a return. At the very least, Summer Daze needs to be in everyones hands.
