Powder Perfect If Its Not Baroque, Don't Fix It

Powder Perfect is one of my favorite brands these days. If you are looking for something decadent and dripping in glamour, then this brand should be at the top of your list. I am plowing through my untrieds, and this one made me stop for a few days.

This is a rich, burnt red almost jelly with a whole bunch of glitters and holo twinkles. The formula is deceptively smooth and fluid. If you didn't know better, you wouldn't know that it was a super dense glitter polish. It flows that well off the brush. I used just two coats here, and I prefer to apply thinner coats. It does have a slight texture, so if you want the glossy finish like I show here I recommend a nice layer of top coat. I used, as always, Seche Vite.

I know that this is the typical season for neons and brights...but I can't go very long without a vampy respite from the summer colors. Maybe it is my inner goth teenager? I dunno, but I do know that I love this shade.
