It is Emily de Molly time again! It is like a Christmas that comes once a month, and I don't have to decorate my house or smell fake cinnamon! There are a couple magical ones in here, so lets get cracking!
(promotional samples ahead)
This is a super reflective, saturated aqua with a delicious cool shift. It definitely had an inner glow while I was wearing it, especially on that super-foggy day. I admit I was worried about this one, oftentimes tiny-flecked shades like this are either a) a beast to clean up and/or b) so sheer you need eleventy-four coats for opacity...which kills the glow. This one was the perfect Goldilocks formula. I used two easy coats plus a layer of Seche Vite.
Voice of My Love
This is a warm grape with a sunshine gold shimmer. It makes me feel like the sunlight is coming from my fingertips, and that is enough to make me love it. The formula was smooth and creamy, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
Traverse the Skies
Hello periwinkle! Oh, and let us not forget the candy pink shimmer and silver flakes. They are special too. This creamy shade is just what my soul craves, everything else is just a bonus. It applies like a true, easy cream and I only needed two thin coats plus Seche Vite for these pictures.
If ever there was a color that made me think of a mermaids skin, this would be it. A cool violet with a super-pronounced seafoam shimmer, this shade is drowning in a jewel-toned clutch of glittering hexes. Not everyone I have encountered loves this shade, but I think I kinda do. It is different from everything else I have, and the shimmer makes it glow like an anglerfish lurking in the dark. Surprisingly, it applied like there was no glitter in here at all. I only needed two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
This is a glowing ember of a holo polish. It has a nice, strong linear holo and is dusted with coordinating holo glitter. I definitely think I'll be wearing this in the Fall. The very best thing about this sucker is that is could be a one-coater with a little bit of effort. The formula is wonderfully smooth, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
It Will Be Done
This creamy shade is filled with tiny purple hexes and a lush layer of iridescent glitters. Polishes like this are the thing that drew me into EdM all those years ago. It applies very easy, and I didn't have to fuss with the glitter dispersal at all. I did end up adding a layer of Gelous to this manicure later, just to get that glass-like finish. Shown here is two coats, Seche Vite, and a light layer of Gelous.
Have you ever wanted to be Poison Ivy? Or maybe a fabulous lizard lady like Vastra in Doctor Who? Well this is the multichrome to make your dreams a reality. There are so many cool, foresty colors flashing under the holo sparkle and the metallic peacock shine. It applies as sexily as it looks like it should, and I used two thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
I can't really pick a favorite this month. There is something extra special about each shade...You'll just have to bring them all home so we can discuss. They should be available at 7pm eastern in the EdM shop! Which one is your favorite?
