Super Sonic over China Glaze Boho Blues

This is a mad topper. It is filled with delicate, whimsical shards and flakes of iridescent glitter and bits of holo. It reminds me of bubbles. It is also super dense..but without being finnicky to apply. I used one light coat over my periwinkle base, and then laid on a single layer of Seche Vite. It was amazing, but I knew what this needed: matte. I used Onward Through the Fog (also from Vapid) over it, and it gave it this wonderful NeverEndingStory-like glow.  If you grab this one, definitely try it matte.

Ethereal

This springy lavender shade is packed with shifting lavender-to-turquoise microflakes. You can't see the shift in the bottle, and I couldn't catch it in pictures, but as you waggle your fingers around you'll see it. I was a bit worried about this one, because I generally don't dig on the "frothy" viscosity of polishes like this...but this one surprised me. It applied as though there were no flakes in there at all! I used three thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures, and I am kicking myself for not adding a matte coat too. 

Mermaid Tears

This is an eggshell cream-jelly hybrid (shutupshutup that word isn't real) filled with metallic blue and purple hexes, plus a dusting of gold holo hexes. This was another fabulous surprise when it came to application. There were no streaks. At ALL. The first coat went on even and smooth, without the customary streaks that light colors have, nor the uneven coats that sheer polishes start out with, nor the irregular deposits of glitter than some polishes have....sigh. I think I am in love. It is SFW, plus a little sparkly, and its a lovely spin on a neutral. I used three very thin coats here followed by a layer of Seche Vite and then Onward Through the Fog. 10/10 would recommend wearing it matte.

I am a pretty recent convert to the world of wax melts and tarts. I have been a long-time lover of incense and oils, but waxes were a whole new world! I have tried a few indie brands, plus the Christmas Cupcake melt from the Black Friday restock. I love the tiny shapes here, and I can't wait to grab some more so I can mix my own scents. These smell rich and decadent, and my kids are pestering me to get them their own warmer upstairs so they can choose their own scents. Consider me converted.
