Emily de Molly can do no wrong, at least not as far as I am concerned. And while I know that you guys have all seen these polishes already, but I am still playing catch-up from my most epic of moves...so we get to see some old stuff! I am not complaining.
(promotional samples ahead)
This is a candy colored, super saturated warm pink filled with shifting icy flakes. It is the strangest shade, and I definitely recommend that you wear it for a day before you decide how you feel about it. I am not always fond of warm tones against my skin, but this shade...it does this weird shifty thing as you move your hand around. I can't explain it, but it is breathtaking. The formula was smooth and easy, despite the density of flakes and I used two normal coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
Blackmail Milestone
Hello perfect winter green! This is a true hunter green jelly filled with iridescent hexes and dusted with a shifting shimmer. It looks like the cypress trees around here at sunset. It applied so nicely, even with my nails being longer. I used two normal coats (no undies) and a layer of Seche Vite here.
Vertical Control
This is what a brilliant, frozen sky would look like if a rainbow exploded all over it. This electric aquamarine ultra-holo is smooth, hyper-saturated, and exactly what you expect from an EdM holo. It applied easily in two normal coats.
Bonus Round
This is a vivid cobalt blue holo glitter bomb. I went into this one fully expected a lumpy finish, to the point where I laid out my Gelous before I started...but I didn't need it. This dried so smooth and glossy under Seche Vite. I was astounded. I was further blown away by the fact that I only needed two normal coats to reach opacity.
End Points
This shade is speaking my language. This is a soft iris purple shade filled with an other-wordly yellow green pearl. It reminds me of...something. It feels like it would fit right in with the creepy side of Alice in Wonderland. My only regret here is that I didn't sponge on the last coat to really show off the shimmer. But it is pretty streak-free at two coats, as shown below.
Geode Mine
This shade defies description. It reminds me of a disco sable, and its dusted with indigo flakes and coppery glitter. I have a MUFE eyeshadow that is this shade (without the holo and glitters, of course). I think this shade might be my favorite here, as it is a neutral and a crazy glitter bomb all at once. It applies smooth as satin, and I barely needed two coats for complete coverage.
This collection was such a pleasure to swatch and wear, and whenever I find the bottles again (omfg moving sucks so much) I will definitely be wearing Geode Mine again. Do you have a favorite here?
These are currently available in both the US and Aussie shops.
Your descriptions of these are rad. As are the polishes!
