We are in the grip of winter. Or, rather, some folks are. In my neck of the woods the weather is same as ever. But since most people are buried in snow, I figure it is a good time to break out some icy blues...and maybe a dot or two.

Instead of a boring old dotticure, I decided to do some teardrop shaped dots in black. It might have been related to some black sesame seeds I saw on some sushi...but who knows? It was easy, quick, and fun. Three of my favorite things.

I think this simple dotticure is just fun enough to keep from being boring. I wish I had used a matte coat on top here, because I love bright matte creams. What do you think of this simple manicure?
