Who else but Fair Maiden to bring us something beautiful and sparkling for the holidays...with an added dash of nostalgic charm?
(promotional samples ahead)
Well hello there, glowing red pile of awesomeness. This is a deviously squishy red jelly filled with metallic glitters and a twinkle of holo. It is hot and vampy...and also reminds me of a candied apple. It applies like warmed syrup and I needed two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
Cindy Lou Who
This is a vivid raspberry linear holo with a glowing pink underbelly. From far away, it just looks like a supersaturated pink holo...but when you get close you see that peppermint-candy-glow underneath. It applies so smooth and easy, and I used two coats plus a later of Seche Vite here.
All The Whos in WhoVille
This is a soft sparkly rose gold shade filled with flakes, holo, and glitter
oh my. And just when you think its safe to call this polish a rose gold, it flashes a bright pink glow at you. It was a bit sheer on the first coat, but it was easily opaque at the third. I added a layer of Seche Vite here because I like that glass-like finish.
What is a Christmas collection without a perfect tree green? This is a bright green linear holo with a metallic underbelly. It is the best deep forest green holo I have seen in quite a while...but I admit I haven't seen a deep green that I haven't loved. The formula was Goldilocks quality and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these photos here.
This is the trickiest polish in the collection. For me, anyway. I looked at the bottle and I thought "oh, its a frosty blue, like a snowy sky." Then I put it on and stepped into my light box area...and I saw this aqua-green flash. I actually walked back into the house to make sure I hadn't been imagining things. It was back to showing its bright blue face...and don't even get me started on the pinky-purple flash I caught in the macros. Tricky tricky. Whatever color it is...I love it and the formula. I used two normal coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
This is the vampy sister of this collection. It is a blackened bronzey plum linear holo with a sexy warm underbelly. Just...yes. This is what I want Fall/Winter to be. The formula was so nice it would have given the Grinch himself a case of grabby-hands. I used two normal coats here plus a layer of Seche Vite.
Do you have a favorite here? I don't think I could pick a single "best in show". You had better just buy them all...just to be safe.
