Powder Perfect has come out with stamping polishes. Yes, you read that correctly. Another indie has joined the fray, and we are all the better for it. I have put off buying stamping polish for a myriad of reasons...among them chiefly "oh they aren't any different than just super opaque creams" and "but I don't want to buy leaded paint from Mexico". After this test, I can happily say that at least one of my reasons is now off the table. Read on to find out which one.

Before we start, let's talk about how terrible I truly am at stamping. Now, before you protest, let me say this: I am not downplaying my skillz because I want you to fawn over me with praise. I am not great at stamping. It is a fact. I have exceedingly little experience with stamping, and I have not (until the last few months) put any effort into improving my skills. For the most part, I chalked it up to something I would never master and moved on...I figured it just wasn't for me. As it turns out, using piss-poor tools was what was ruining my experience. Who knew, right? So I am writing this review not from a "Doctor Professor Nail Polish Lady" but from a regular human who has never been 100% happy with her stamped art.
And for science, I used only the stamping polish here. They make decent bases, and I didn't have any staining issues. I tried to make these work with my MoYou clear stamper, but it just wouldn't work. Instead I used my trusty old squishy marshmallow stamper. It just works better for me, at my skill level. I also used a plate from Born Pretty Store: BP-L002. I chose a plate that I have had decent luck with in the past, just so I would have a bit of a baseline.
Ok, let's get this party started!
Golden over Black and White
Orange over Black and White
Silver over Black and White
White over White and Black
I know, this is a weird review. I know. But there isn't a whole lot that can be said about these that the pictures can't show better. And there is only so many ways I can say "omgyouguise". As a noob, I found these to make a huge difference in the final stamped product. For the first time, I actually got my nails to look like I envisioned...which is worth every single penny on earth.
These retail for $10.50 a pop in the US Shop, which I think is a steal for polishes that not only stamp but apply smoothly as regular shades...in one coat.
So yeah, tl;dr is buy these. Immediately.
October 2016 update!

Woah - those are some crisp images! I have some stamping only polishes and love most of them. (I also snorted at the lead paint comment - wonder who that is about...hmmmm?)
