Octopus Party Nail Lacquer is a staple around these parts. Without Dave and his octopolishes, who knows where we would all be at this very second. Even though I missed the restock over at Ella Ann Cosmetics, I can still share my swatches and thoughts. These polishes are worth seeing more than once.

This is a teal linear holo with gold flakes and a pinkish twinkle. It is deliciously mysterious and bright, though it definitely feels like something for Fall. And creepily...this one matches my current hair color. Dave has a knack for that. I used three coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
This is a medium blue linear holo with a pink shift. It has a dusting of holo glitter and I swear I see silver flakes in there as well. It is a little metallic and a little sheer, but after three coats is is opaque and glowy. It reminds me of pulled candy, but I promise I didn't eat it.
Prey For Me
Hello, my vampy little friend. This is a deep raisin linear holo with a soft gold shimmer. It is the perfect color for Halloween and I am excited to break it out again this Fall. It applied like magic, and I used three whisper-thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for the pictures below.
This stunner is a grayed out violet holo with a blushing flash. It has a bronzed quality at certain angles and it is filled with little fuchsia flakes. I used three coats here, but honestly I didn't see a huge difference between the second and third coats. It applied like liquid metal, though. That was neat.
So which one of these was your favorite? I think, obviously, I love the vampy shade that is Prey For Me. I can't wait to work that one into some nail art in the coming weeks.
