When it comes to literature-inspired shades, no one does it better than Literary Lacquers. Obviously. Themes like these were meant to be. And this duo is perfect. Just wait, you'll agree.

Sweet Lenore
This is a sandy, dirty bronzed metallic linear holo. It is just the right amount of glitz and grit to suit me. The formula is super reflective and shimmering...and yet it still applied very easily. A lot of shades that are this sparkly can get a little messy on the brush, but this one was glorious. I used two easy coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.

And This Mystery Explore
This is a smoked jellyish base packed with orange, gold, and holo glitters...all dressed in a cloak of shimmer. It is complex. It reminds me of something from the Raiders of the Lost Ark, all aged and glittering. If I were to go after the Holy Grail, I would probably consider this for my manicure. The formula was wonderful here, and I used two normal coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.

This duo is available in the Literary Lacquers shop right now! Which one is your favorite? I am kinda digging on the glam/art deco vibe of Sweet Lenore...but then I can totally see And This Mystery Explore fitting right into a sweet art noveau mani too. I can't decide.
