Grace-Full Nail Polish is out for blood this fall, kids. I have a trio of stunning multichromes that will cause you to just start throwing your money at your screen. They are just...amazingly amazing. I can't wait to play with these some more!
(promotional samples ahead)
She Walks In Starlight
This shade shows a green face when approached dead-on, but will flash through jewel tones to a brilliant sapphire. The formula is silky and amazing. I used two coats under a layer of Seche Vite here...mostly. On my ring, I used one coat over a plain black cream. There is hardly a difference in color depth and opacity. I think without the black undies, it has a much nicer glow...but I still love having the option.
I Am Fire
If you could dip a ruby in fire, then pour it into a bottle of polish...you would have this shade. This polish shifts through the warmer end of the rainbow and often shows an olivey gold glow. Again, the formula is fabulous here and I used just two coats for the pictures here. And again, on my ring I layered a single coat over my trusty black cream. I think it takes it to a darker place (duh) which I do like, but I think I prefer it alone. Over black, it loses some of that luminosity.
This is the warmest/coolest blue-violet multichrome with a shimmer. I...words, man. Look at it! So shiny. I am a sucker for shades like this, and I really run out of ways to say "omgyay". The shift is mostly between shades of blue to shades of purple, but there is a flash of green here and there at odd angles. The formula is a little more sheer than it's siblings, and I used three coats here. For my ring, I again layered one coat over my black cream. I really like the way it looks. The change is subtle, but in person it gives an extra edge to the shift.
So what is your verdict? Are you as in love with these shifting beauties as I am? If I had to pick a favorite...shiiiiit...I don't think I can. Each one has such a different feeling. These are available right now on the Grace-Full website for $11 each. Which, honestly, kinda seems like a steal.
