Cold Inside Me
This is a bright jewel-like teal filled with softly shifting flakes. The formula on this one is stellar and I bet it could be easily opaque in one medium coat. As it is here, I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite.
Fire in your Eyes
This is searing electric pink filled with purple-to-pink flakes. It is the vivid, not-quite-neon that I love and my camera hates. I had to underexpose this image just to get the polish to look true-to-life. It is amazing. It applies like a dream, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
Flash Forward Fantasy
This is a warm, peachy beige filled with twinkling pink flakes. Who is surprised that this is one of my favorites? I definitely am not. It is practically the perfect skin-toned shade for me, and it is a fantastic neutral on everyone I've seen wear it. The formula is slightly jellied, and the flakes glow from beneath the layers. I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
This is a super pale lilac jelly-ish filled with holo dust and pink-blue flakes. This shade is one of the thinner out there, and I wish I had used a slightly thicker coat on the last pass because I can see a little VNL in the pictures. I did three thin coats here plus a layer of Seche Vite.
I'm Doctor Martha Jones, Who the Hell are You?
This is a vibrant fuchsia that is filled with gold flakes. Let's put aside the fact that I love and adore Miss Martha Jones...this polish is great. The jelly formula is just the right consistency to keep all the flakes floating and shining. I used three thinner coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
Lilac Blondes on the Beach
This is a subdued, grayed-out khaki with a soft holo sparkle and a pink flash. Its another SFW shade...so yeah, I'm a fan. The formula was smooth, and I only needed two coats plus Seche Vite for these pictures.
This is a bright, medium pink holo with a sprinkle of flakes throughout. If you like girly, then this is your perfect shade. It is just neutral-toned enough to be flattering on almost anyone, and it is feminine without being too saccharine. It applied smooth as silk, and I used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
This is a pure periwinkle jelly with a sprinkling of holo and blue-violet flakes. The formula is jelly like, and perfect to apply. Not even a hint of drag at all. I used three thinner coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
The One Worth Leaving
This is a vampy blood-red jelly filled with pink (or maybe silvery) flakes. It was a dream to apply, but a beastie to photograph. The formula was just the right cross of fluid and tacky, and I didn't have to do much clean-up at all. It is definitely going to be a favorite color for Fall and Winter for me. It applied like a dream, and I used three thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite.
and as usual, the slideshow!
This collection is a pretty impressive grouping, I have to say. Looking at all these shades in one place really shows off the range of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers as a brand. Which ones are your favorites?
