Baroness X is at it again. She combines shimmers and holos and amazing things like few others ever have. She made a shade for the Cocktails & Colors party in Las Vegas, and it was just amazing.
(promotional samples ahead)
Here are the "swag bag" contents. There was candy, a full-sized bottle of polish, a mini Swatcher's balm, and a jelly disco light-up ring. I made a gif, then promptly surrendered the ring to my youngest offspring...because the light was too much for my poor brain.
This shade is a collection of deep violet shimmers, iridescent rainbow flakes and holo glitters all in a black jelly base. You want depth? You got it in spades here. It is just the right consistency to let each layer full of glittering goodness shine through. I used three coats, plus Seche Vite, for these pictures.
I think when I wear it next time, I might do a black base and two thin coats. Mostly for two simple reasons. One: I have never been fond of the way black jellies tend to thin around my tips. It must be something in the way I apply polish, but it always looks thin and patchy...even when the formula is the tits. Two: I must make this polish laaaaast. Though maybe...I won't have to hoard it as hard as I think.
You have stuck with me this long...so I'll spill...sorta. If you love this polish, you might want to check out the Baroness X shop on the 15th of October. For reasons.
