Grace-Full Nail Polish is like a rainbow exploded in my pocket. The holos they create are just...wow. I don't understand how it works, but I thank the heavens for them. I know I'm a wee bit tardy (hooray adulting) but I have two lovely Color of the Month shades to share today!

Color of the Month for August 2016: Adrift
This flashing, open-ocean teal blue linear holo has a delicate gold shift. If you know me at all, you know that I love teals. Hell, my hair has been a variation of this color for the last three years. Minus the holo, of course. Although...ahem. Where was I? Yes, shiny things. Y'all. Just look at this polish. Do you want to be a mermaid? This is your first step in realizing your dreams. The formula was perfect, and I honestly barely needed to do any clean-up here. It was so good that I swear it was only four steps away from applying itself. I think, if my nails were shorter, I could get away with using one medium coat. As it was, I used two thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.

Color of the Month for September 2016: Charmed Existence
I bet this is what the Emerald City is painted with, guys. This is one of the best, flashiest, brightest emerald green holos I have ever, ever, ever, ever seen. It is pimpy and bright...a shade worthy of Scarlett O'Hara, for sure. I am a May baby, so greens like this always have a special place in my heart. The formula on this one is just like Adrift, and I am beginning to realize that this is standard for this brand. No patchiness, no streaks, no shenanigans. I used two coats plus Seche Vite for these pictures.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't brave enough to put teal in my hair. I didn't want to look like a mermaid who'd been hanging around in the algae too much. I went with purple instead :-P
