It has been a while since I was lucky enough to share some Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer goodies here on the blog. This brand has some of my top neon pinks, and the holos are sparkly as the night sky, so it is always a treat to share a few pictures with you guys.
(promotional samples ahead)
Interstellar
Have you ever wondered what a summer twilight sky would look like if you filled it with stars? Well, look no further! This soft cadet blue holo is filled with holo glitters and flashing blue flakes. It gives it a metallic-finish under almost every lighting I tried. If you have tried 77NL before, then you will know the formula well. This one lives up to the hype: the first coat is sheer, but it builds up perfectly in three thin coats to give a jelly-like glow.
Suburban Barbie
So...do I even need to talk about this one? It is a neon pink, filled with pink and gold flakes with a dusting of gold holo. The formula is more on the jelly side than the previous Barbie shades, and it really gives the shade a nice squishy depth. Like most jellies and almost all neons, it does dry semi-matte so I followed three super thin coats with a layer of Seche Vite.
Sugar
I love a good SFW shade. Even moreso when you throw all the holo you've ever seen at it. That is what this pinky-neutral holo is. It is a tasteful, subdued blush stuffed with fuchsia sparks and drowning in holo flame. The formula is perfect and delightful, and I used two thin coats plus Seche Vite for this pictures.
Sun Moon Stars
Way back a billion years ago, I wore a perfume called Sun, Moon, and Stars. I wore it every day for years, and it was so much my signature scent that my friends could never wear the scent. It is long-since gone, but at least now I have this soft denim holo. It is frighteningly sheer on that first coat, but it magically goes opaque with the second. I only used two coats for these pictures.
That's Not Purple!
Um...are you sure? This name makes me give this bottle the side-eyeingist of side-eyes...but then I notice the icy blue flash and the violet flakes. Ok, so maybe it isn't just purple. But it still is. It is also deliciously jelly, and I layered three thin coats and Seche Vite for these pictures. Doesn't it just glow?
...and of course...let there be slideshows!
These polishes are available in the 77NL shop. I can't pick a single "must have" here, but I sure do have a hard time not recommending a neutral or a neon. Which shade do you love?
I admit to having already bought these...
