Just when you thought the Vapid Lacquer madness was over...there turns out to be more! Ms. Krys brought back some shades from the vault, and they are just lovely.
(promotional samples ahead)
This is a warm metallic gunmetal gray. It has a soft, smoky shimmer and it applies like I don't even know what. Some kind of super slippy fluid thing...like the T-1000 in Terminator II decided to retire as a polish formula. I used two thin coats here, and it was exactly what I needed. I have an old Urban Decay color like that...and it doesn't apply half as nicely.
Be The Cream
Have you ever been to an old-school candy shop and seen them making the candy? Like pulling taffy and spinning peppermint sticks? This pearly white shade reminds me of the peppermint sticks without their colored stripes. So much so that my brain almost fills in with a peppermint scent. The mind is a strange thing. The formula was fabulous, and it applied like slipping on a satin peignoir. I used two coats plus Seche Vite for these pictures.
This was part of the #Vapibirthday restockening, and these shades will be a rotating part of the core collection. These colors are definitely worth taking a hard look at...I have used Be The Cream as a base for a watermarble, and it is a great alternative to the traditional white cream.
