Emerald & Ash: Period Poops

Man, April Fool's Day is really the best. Some awesome things come out of there. When I saw this adorable little set , I nearly choked on my coffee with laughter. Then I went and grabbed my wallet. I half expected it to be a joke...but thankfully it was 100% real.

Pink Gellac Gel Manicure Starter Kit | Swatch & Review

Have you ever heard of Pink Gellac ? It's a gel nail polish brand that sells predominantly online. I first noticed them in Las Vegas a couple of years ago, and was really drawn to their display at a convention. You know me and bright colors...but I put it out of my mind because of my previous gel polish experience. When I was contacted to review their starter kit I figured it was a sign. I sure am glad I accepted.

My Favorite Peel-Off Base: Liquid Latex

(promotional samples ahead) In the last few months, I've gained an affinity for wearing polish for a few hours (to match an outfit maybe...and for swatching) but my skin just cannot handle the amount of acetone that it takes to try on polish after polish. I've got strong nails, but even they have a limit. Through the wild world of facebook, I learned of clear liquid latex...and I had to try it.
