Vapid Lacquer Ride or Die

I am starting to think Vapid Lacquer can do no wrong. I pretty much love and adore everything that comes from this brand...and I haven't even touched the skincare yet. Today I have swatches and a quick little video of a new one-off shade...and it is amazing.

This is a pewtery cool-violet super linear holo. In the sunshine it is just wow. The formula is typical Vapid: smooth and easy. Not so thin that I need a billion coats, but not so thick that I can't spread the brush across my nail plate. On the first coat, it looked a bit sheer...and I admit I was a bit worried. But once a second normal coat was laid down, it was perfectly opaque. I used two coats plus Seche Vite here and I was completely happy.

The sun came out right as I was sitting down to swatch, but I could see the fog creeping up towards my house...so all I can share is a swirly bottle shot in the sunshine. But my heavens, guys...it is worth seeing.

Ride or Die will be available for preorder Saturday, June 11th through Sunday, June 19th in the Vapid Shop. This shade is limited edition, and as far as I can find out it won't be returning any time soon. I would reserve one asap, this color is worth the wait.
