Baroness X L'Heure Bleue Trio

Baroness X has made a name for herself in creating the most ethereal, delicate, and dazzling polishes. This new collection, inspired by the blue shades of twilight, is definitely in line with that stunning vibe.

Baroness X L'Heure Bleue Trio

(promotional samples ahead)

Vespertine
This is a dusty, cadet blue with a pink shimmer and a twinkle of holo glitter. It reminds me of the color of the bay at dusk on a hot day. The formula is creamy and easy, and I used just two coats plus Seche Vite.

Eventide
This is a vivid cobalt jelly filled with shifting hexes. It is such a classic Baroness X sort of shade. I won't comment on the formula, because some tiny human who has since been sold to a travelling circus left the cap half off and I had some evaporation which made the formula a bit thicker. I still only used three coats plus a single, normal layer of Seche Vite. Check out Shawna's blog post from yesterday for a much more accurate idea of the formula here...plus her pictures are awesome.

Sweet Light
I love these sort of unique creams. This saturated blitzed strawberry is full of tiny red/deep pink specks. The formula and brush work together like magic, and I bet shorter nails could do a single medium coat. I used two, and a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.

As always, my new obsession:

This collection debuted yesterday (June 20) on the Baroness X shop. You can buy each full sized shade for $10 a pop, or grab the whole trio for $28. Obviously, just getting all three is the better deal.

  2. These are fabulous! I LOVE Vespertine so hard! And oh man, I'm dreading the day my littles are older and start helping themselves to my polish! So far they stay out of my polish room if the door is closed, but they love those enticing bottles so much.
