More Powder Perfect? But of course! Along with the ultra-glam Palace Collection, there are also a pair of stand-alone shades coming to you. And they are the bee's knees guys. Two shades that will pretty much work for any occasion!
(promotional samples ahead)
Principessa
This is my favorite pink tone. Not too cool, not too warm. Its bright, but not obnoxious (shut up. Sometimes I like normal.) Fun, but still work-friendly. This shade has the added bonus of a deliciously subtle silvery shimmer that is so incredibly impossible for me to catch on camera. Dammit. It's there though. This formula was gloriously Goldilocks, and I used two think coats plus a layer of Seche Vite here.
Rainy Days Call for Greige
YOU GUYS. Ok, so you know I love a good nude/neutral. This one...oh my. It is perfection in a bottle. It is just too grayed to be mannequin hands, which is actually wonderful on two fronts. First, that grayed taupe makes this color ultra modern and fresh. Anyone from eight to eighty will be able to wear this color and still look hip. Second: that freshness the gray lends to this color makes it pretty damned close to a universal neutral. I have no actual basis for this, but I think that this will flatter pretty much anyone. More research is definitely necessary, and if you buy this shade and you aren't a pasty-pink flower (or even if you are...) tag me in your pictures. I need to see this across the rainbow.
The formula was pretty great too. I actually drew little hearts on my notes under the description of this color...so yeah. Two coats, Seche Vite, and I was happy.
I hope these two shades are permanent parts of the menagerie because I definitely foresee needing a backup bottle of that greige. So many nail art projects start with a good, clean base.
I must own Rainy Days Call for Greige!
