Hobby Polish Bloggers Presents: Neutrals & Neons

Another month, another HPB vote that turns against me. I am developing a complex, ya'll. I wanted to do bubbles...but everyone else chose neutrals & neons. I was close this time! And I still would have done bubbles...but it turns out I can't paint those! 

Despite things not going my way...neons always make me happy. And the neutral prompt gave me a reason to use Rainy Days again...so I'm faux mad. I actually like how this turned out, even though its a bit roughed up and weird.

After two coats of my neutral, I dry brushed some white on to give the neons a chance to pop a bit more...but as these are stripers they are pretty loud on their own. I had these in the bottom of my nail art box for years...and I figured I might as well give them a little action. They stamped surprisingly well.

Of course I had to break out my black light. Though I couldn't find my tripod...so there is a bit of wobble here. Sorry, kids. But you get the idea here. All sorts of glowy things going on. 

Neon season is fast approaching. Do you have a favorite neon? I unabashedly love them all, but I don't use them near enough. What is your favorite way to wear neons?
