Another glorious Siren from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer! This time it is a glowing aqua, and I can't wait to show you all the pictures!
(promotional samples ahead)
This bright summer sky blue is filled with delicate flakes and a fine dusting of holo. The formula is the bee's knees, and I used just two coats plus Seche Vite for these photos.
Sometimes, shades like this can be a wee bit fussy. It is hard to fill a polish with this much sparkly chaos and still have a usable formula. I had zero trouble with this shade. There was no wrestling with the brush, no poking nor prodding of the flakes, everything laid smoothly without issue, and my free edge was clean and smooth like I like it to be. This shade does need a good glossy topper to really show off the full spectrum of awesome...though I actually think maybe I need to go try a matte coat now too. You just can't go wrong here.
As I was
being a lazy shit and leaving my toys all over my desk tidying up, I noticed that I matched my giant sharpie pen...which is awesome because this is the official softball pen as it matches my kids' softball colors! Hooray for having a themed manicure!
Have you tried a Siren? I think this would be a good intro into the BeG cult. Join us. We have shiny things.
