The amazing things from Vapid Lacquer just keep coming. Today I am sharing the paring (yay rhymes!) of the new Goddess of Spring collection and this amazingly full-coverage glitter. I wanted to show that it really is a delightful multi-tasker...and totally not because I couldn't bear to put the spring brights away. Nope.
(promotional samples ahead)
This is Pretty Pretty Princess, and she is a looker. A crazy-dense glitter polish that can easily be built up to a full coverage in just two normal coats, it will definitely catch everyones attention at that. But I looked at it and wondered "Can I use this as a topper? Would it be cool or awful?" Turns out it is cool. Superduper cool.
For these next pictures I painted one simple, easy layer of Pretty Pretty Princess over each of the Goddess shades.
Over Aphrodite
Over Ishtar
Over Ostara
Over Persephone
Over Saraswati
I love when a glitter polish can do double duty as both a topper and alone. It always makes me feel like I have two polishes for the price of one...it is the little things, ya'll.
Which one is your favorite pairing? I thought it would be Saraswati, but Ostara turned out to be a surprise favorite.
Seriously. ...this polish looks amazing over any base
