CrowsToes makes some crazy-dazzling polishes. It is known. Back in March, the Lady Crow joined in with the Hella Holo Customs facebook group to make a fan-driven trio...and it is glorious. Let's have a look at March's offering.
(promotional samples ahead)
This is a mad glitterbomb is a cacaphony of multichrome flakes and holo glitters floating in a black tinted base. It is like...Mardi Gras came to roost on my fingers. I can't wait to play with it. Believe it or no, I only used two coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
Hot Headed Red
This sexy little duochrome glows like a candied apple. It has a lush metallic-looking base and a liberal dusting of holo glitters in addition to the red-orange to pink shift. This was another easy-breezy two coater. This color, for some reason, reminds me intensely of a few red-headed bloggers I know.
This shade is the household favorite. My eldest child got ahold of this color before I did, and she gave herself a quite skillful manicure considering her age. I love this icy mint shade with its shifting flakes and linear holo. If you aren't eight, then it applies evenly and smoothly opaque in two coats. If you are eight...well, then you might only need half a coat. And some acetone. And then maybe a bath.
I fully expected to have these polishes swatched and posted before the end of March. But thanks to kids hiding my mail (I swear to the gods I'll eat them both) and me catching the plague for the billionth time...I am frightfully tardy. But you can drop HHC a line to score the link to that super secret fb group so that you won't miss out on the next brandstravanza. In the meantime, I think a visit to the CrowsToes shop might be in order.
