Digital Nails Water You Wading For?
This is a vividly dusty cornflower blue. It is almost purple in some lights. I almost want to say that is is a dustier, squishier sister of the fabled Pacific Blue. This shade is, by far, the best DN formula of any CALM box. I am in love. I used two thin coats and a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
Indigo Bananas Smoke on the Otter
I admit, I chuckled/rolled my eyes/groaned at the name of this shade. My kids thought it was high-comedy. It is a smooth, ghostly cool putty cream. It has a silky formula and I used two thin coats here plus a layer of Seche Vite.
Literary Lacquers Salmon Chanted Evening
Again...the puns. But really, this one is perfection. This incredibly lively coral shade really does match smoked salmon almost perfectly. If you need to do some sushi-themed nail art...you might need this. This formula was a tiny bit thinner than the others, and I used three thin coats just to make sure that the bright lights didn't show through.
Octopus Party Nail Lacquer The Algae-atic SeaIf ever there was a springtime shade, this would definitely be it. It reminds me of easter grass. This electric pear shade has that delightful squish that so many OPNL creams have, and I used three thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
I have quite a few nail art looks to share with these shades, including the traditional CALM seriotype. I can't wait! Which color do you like the best?
This box is a steal at $26+shipping. Definitely worth pre-ordering!
