Carpe Noctem Cosmetics does neutrals like no one else. She has made a few of my very favorite beiges, taupes, and grays...and this super professional shade is no different.
This totally SFW shade is a creamy pale khaki-leaning holo taupe filled with sterling flakes. It is like the happy medium between Taupey Tips and The Paper. And those sweet, sweet flakies...oh my. The formula is that perfect CNC jelly-squishy-magic, and I used three coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for these pictures.
The holo is so wonderfully delicate...and of course the sun was swallowed by fog. I can't wait for summer, when at least I'll have a few hours to try to catch the sun. Until then, long live the flash.
There are some big things happening for CNC these days. New bottles, new store, new shades. You should go over and check it out!
Love love LOVE Taupey Tips, that's my favorite of Carpe Noctem's YNBB neutrals. Obediant creature that I am, I did indeed go over and check out the offerings in the myshopify store and was reminded that I hadn't yet purchased Paint Uranus Pink, as I've been meaning to do since the first time I saw it. Purchased immediately (along with two others)! Thanks!
