Literary Lacquers is a rather new-to-me brand. It is oft-recommended, but for one reason or another I never pulled the trigger on the shades in my etsy cart. I wish I hadn't waited so long...because I think I am now obsessed.
(promotional samples ahead)
A Sensible Rabbit
This is a soft, sable brown holo with black micro glitters and coppery flakes. It is such an interesting neutral, and you know I love a good nude shade. I used two thin coats + Seche Vite and I was a happy camper.
Free to Fly
Oh man. Let's see: unicorny lavender? Check. Ok...holo? Yup, here too. Annnnd how about some shifty flakes? Hot damn. This shade makes my heart go pitter-patter. If you don't own it, you definitely should. I used two coats + SV for these pictures.
Phizzwizzard
Try saying the name of this polish without giggling. Go on, I'll wait. See, you can't! This hilariously titled minty holo is wonderfully delicate and has the tiniest hint of gold simmering below the surface. I used three coats + SV here, and I ended up with the most ethereal finish.
Veronika
I don't know what the inspiration for this shade was, but I am currently humming an Elvis Costello song. This deep, vampy violet has a strong holo and purple flakes. It applies easily and smooth, and I only needed two coats + SV.
And of course, the traditional seriotype of the multi-polish post.
Oh man. It is taking everything I have to not run right out and buy everything in the shop. I am on a hard no/low buy right now (my kid needs a bed that can't be used to hide things) but when I see shades like these (and a few others) it makes me question my motives. I mean...kids sleep on the floor all the time, right?
Yeeeeessssssss. Drink the LitLac koolaid. Do it.
