Octopus Party Nail Lacquer and Literary Lacquer are the next delightful pairing I have for you! This time, it is all a little softer, a little more quiet...but still stunning.
(promotional samples ahead)
Sky of the SkySky of the Sky is a delicate pale cornflower blue holo with gold shimmer and iridescent flakes. It definitely feels like a clear winter sky to me, all fresh and crisp and clean. The formula on this one was silky-smooth, and I used three thin coats + Seche Vite for the pictures below.
Milk & Honey
Milk & Honey is the most unusual shade, especially for OPNL who is currently making their name in the holo business. It is a pale, creamy eggshell white with a pronounced blue shimmer. It is a great "daily driver" sort of shade. Even at one coat, the streaking is minimal and it makes for a good "my nails but better" sort of color. I think one or two coats would be especially flattering on deeper skintones and I can't wait to see more swatches pop up as people receive their duos. I used three coats + SV for the pictures below.
For the art, I did a little something different. I laid some spiral vinyls on my index and ring fingers and sponged a layer of the Sky of the Sky over Milk & Honey for a subtle shimmering look. My middle finger is just three thin coats and my pinky is a thin layer of the blue sponged over the OPNL neutral. I really wanted to show how versatile these shades could be.
Again, these duos are all sold out. They went quickly, kids. But you might be able to find them on the open market in the coming weeks. These two are definitely worth having.
