Glam Polish does it again, guys. Shiny things abound, and this offering is so delightfully unexpected that I don't even know where to being in describing them. I think, in this instance, that pictures should do all the talking.
(promotional samples ahead)
Flurry Up!
Flurry Up is a peachy neutral holo polish filled with gold flakes. It is actually a pretty great, albeit warmish, nude for my skintone. I think it would also be great for darker folks as well. The flakes are large but require no fishing, dabbing, or fussing to spread evenly across the nail. I used two thin coats plus a layer of Seche Vite for the pictures below.
Wintuk
Wintuk is a soft, delicate, feminine pink holo filled with gold flakes. It is the most wearable light pink I have encountered recently. The formula is thicker thanks to the crazy amount of flakes here, but by no means unmanageable. I used two coats + SV for the pictures below.
Snow Flake
Snow Flake is a delightfully gleeful glitterbomb. It is filled with holo glitter, gold glitter, pink flakes, and I don't even know what else. It is chaos and thunder and awesome...and yet it still dries smooth and level after two coats.
Glacier Bay
Glacier Bay is an icy mint holo filled with silver flakes. It reminds me of the perfect mint of a 50s kitchen, or ice cream on tv. The holo is pronounced without being blown-out in the sunshine. The formula was smooth and even, and two layers + SV left me with a delightfully glossy finish.
Windchill
Windchill is an icy blue holo filled with silver flakes. This is the color that Elsa and Cinderella would come up with if they were locked in a room together. It is easy to wear and apply, being slightly thinner than the other shades in this collection. I still only needed two coats + SV for these pictures.
Ice Age
Can anyone say "glitterbomb"? This polish is a cool-toned glitter-tacular with silver, pink, holo...and more packed into a clear base. I think this might make a decent polish for a glitter gradient, but it really is quite opaque on its own. Happily, this glitter doesn't need the help of Gelous to be smooth and level. I used two perfectly normal coats + SV below and I was left with a glossy, reflective, texture-free finished product.
This collection will be available exclusively from the Glam Polish shop in very limited quantities. Shipping to Australia, USA and France - shipping rates to USA are $3.50 USD for the first polish and an extra $1.00 for each additional polish.
Which shade is your favorite? I still can't decide, but I am leaning towards that Wintuk the more that I look at it.
haha! Glacier Bay totally reminds me of a 50s fridge or wall color!
