Firecracker Lacquer has done it again. This polish was from the Christmas In July box (which, at the time of writing was still available from Ellagee) and it is just amazing to look at...and wear. Two of my favorite colors stuffed into a single bottle of polish. Damn right I was excited to get my paws on this sucker.
(promotional samples ahead)
Santa's Summer Stockings is a delightfully smooth deep aqua holo filled with multiple sizes of fuchsia colored glitters...all floating in a slightly metallic base. There is the slightest green shift at certain angles and this definitely has a soothing, tropical feeling. The formula is thin and flows easily, but not so much that I had to do any extra clean-up. I used two normal coats + a layer of seche vite.
Like I said above, there are still a few Christmas in July boxes available at the time of this writing. It is a mega collaboration with a ton of great brands. This polish is available alone in the FCL Etsy shop now, which is awesome if you also need to grab some gems and candy. Did I mention candy? Because there is candy in each order. If that isn't reason enough...we can't be friends anymore.
I'm loving those purple glitters against the aqua base. Im not normally a fan of bases that are so opaque with glitters but this one is different.
ReplyDeleteIm surprised, but I really love this!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful color combination in the polish!
ReplyDeleteVery appropriate for a tropical Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is gorgeous! I love those colors together!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge fan of glitters that raise out of a solid base like this, but the colour combo is really pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous. Definitely grabbing this one alone if nothing else.
