Firecracker Lacquer The North Remembers Collection

Firecracker Lacquer is ready for Winter. No doubt about it. I am actually ready, too. Especially for what March is holding...but until then, at least we have some glorious Game of Thrones inspired shades to get us through.

(promotional samples ahead)

Caution: Winter Ahead
Caution: Winter Ahead showcases what, in my humble opinion, FcL does best: silvery, ethereal holos. This one is a blindingly bright silver holo with pale gold flakes dispersed throughout. I used two normal coats + Seche Vite for the pictures below.

Don't Be So Dire, Wolf
Don't Be So Dire, Wolf is a deep warm charcoal holo with holo glitter throughout. It dries to a slight texture which helps the glitters catch the light at every angle in the sun. Sadly...there was no sun for me to show you, but you'll have to take my word for it. I definitely need that BPolished textured top coat for this one. I used two coats + SV for these pictures.

Fear Cuts Deeper Than Swords
Ok, so inky violets might be the second best thing that FcL does. This is a deep, deep purple holo with a warm violet underflash and holo sparks. I am very fond of shades like this, and the added sparks are a lovely addition. The sparks can be a little fussy, so I suggest giving the bottle a good shaking about five minutes before you apply to make sure they are nicely separated. I used two coats + SV for these pictures.

I'd Sooner be a Wolf
I'd Sooner be a Wolf is a vivid blue holo filled with holo glitter. It had a slight texture, which makes it super sparkly in almost any light source. The base is lightly metallic and it glows beneath the holo flame. I used two coats + SV for these pictures.

Let it Snow!
Let it Snow is a metallic smoked navy filled with pale gray circle, squares, and mini matte glitters. It looks just like all of the pictures of snowfall that I have seen on the internet...since it doesn't actually snow here. I used two thin coats + SV for these pictures.

It isn't the new season of GoT, I know. We will find no answers about what happened to Jon Snow...but at least our fingers will look pretty while we ring our hands and beg the Seven for luck. This collection will be available in the FcL shop on Sunday at noon (est). Which one is your favorite? I am forever in love with her silvers.
