Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Fall: Part Two

(promotional samples ahead)

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer tends to rock my socks off. If you don't know that by now...well I am not sure how you even ended up here....For the rest of you, my loyal Octonauts, I have the swatches for Part Two of the Fall collection.

Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Fall Part Two

Little Miss 1565
This glowing beauty is a warm-leaning red jelly-ish filled with glowing pearl and golden green flakes. It reminds me of candied apples...or maybe Hot Tamales. (I still have Halloween on the brain.) I found the formula to be a bit on the thicker side...but it actually rained this week so I am going to chalk it up to the humidity and warmth pushed ashore by the storm. I had to do no fishing, dabbing, or fussing to get the flakes to disperse evenly across my nail and there was no pitting from them in the final look. This is one of those polishes that you see in pictures and think "oh hey, that's pretty"...and then you see it in person and time stops. It has an ethereal glow that just doesn't translate to photos. Oh, and I only needed two coats + Seche vite for these pictures.

Will You Bury Me?
This coffee colored shade is a delightful departure for OPNL. The dense gold shimmer gives the tobacco brown polish a Tiger's Eye finish and it is just crazy. If you want an understated, SFW shade that will have people grabbing your hand to have a stare, then this one is for you. I used two coats + SV and I was left with this amazing, polished finish.

Clover Shield
This peppy jade green shade is perfect for the impending doom holidays. It has a pronounced linear holo and a satiny metallic underside that makes it fun even without sunshine. It gave my camera fits with the sparkle and shine, which is such a shame. I think this shade would be great for Christmas and suitable for springtime, as it is a perfectly luminous green. I used two thin coats + SV for these pictures.

The Ruins
Tis the season for gold and gilt. This polish is the perfect color for someone who already has a dozen average gold shades. It has a slight hint of green, turning it to an almost citron shade. This is another season-spanner, for sure. It has a great, silky-smooth formula and I only needed two coats + SV for these pictures.

And now, how about a Fall 2015 OPNL class portrait?

Now, I know that they are almost all gone now...I am quite busy in October with all the Halloweening...but you might want to see what goes in in the Octosquad for updates on restocks, preorders, and peer-to-peer sales.
