I am perpetually ill-timed in all things. I find trends either ridiculously early or late, I discover great tv shows months after they are cancelled, or I arrive at a party just as the celebrity has left the building. It is my lot in life, so why should polish be any different? I discovered a brand...just as it closed up shop. Thankfully, Miss Melissa from My Lacquer Cabinet hooked me up with the most amazing shade from B.I.T.C.H. by Jaclyn, so I didn't miss everything.

I love this shade. LOVE. It is like a holo version of Pacific Blue, but without the crying masses and hysteria. I used two coats, plus a layer of seche vite, and then scampered on my merry way. It was just lovely. The older I get, the more I am loving blues. They do suit me so nicely...

And in the sunshine, the rainbow dances across my nails in the most delightful manner. I made my husband look at my fingers at every stop sign. After about two blocks, I am pretty sure he was over it. (Ugh, boys...) I definitely wasn't. Look at the shiny!!

Do you have a new favorite shade that you can't seem to avoid? It is fast becoming these blues for me...though I will never give up on my fuchsias and pinks. Let me know below what shades are your new-found color crush!

    Hahaha, I make my hubby admire the colour on my nails all the time too! He especially loves blue and he humors me. :D I really like this shade on you too!

    Ohhh boy. The glory. I ADORE blues on you. They're so flattering! This one looks like it was made for you. I was considering looking into this brand just for the name, but now that I've seen this beauty I'm going to have to own some. Soon. If Pacific Blue made the nail polish community implode, wait'll they see this baby.. they'll lose their heads over the gorgeousness! That's infinitely better than going nuts because the formula/color changed, amiright? Did I mention that I love how this looks on you?

      As usual, I went back and read your post again AFTER I posted a comment... How did I miss the fact that B.I.T.CH. by Jaclyn is no longer in business? Sorry about that! It's a shame that she's stopped making polishes. It's so sad when an indie brand closes up shop.
