Pale Stripes and Cling Film

I am not sure what I was going for here...maybe I was notebook inspired? I dunno. Sometimes I get an idea and I just run with it. I find myself wishing that I had just done the cling film on all of the nails...

What is the verdict? I prefer the accent nail to the whole thing. Really. But the color palette just speaks to me. I gotta try and break myself of this before everyone gets tired of my pastel droopiness.

    You said cling film and I was like, wtf is that? But now I know - plastic wrap. Ha.

    I really like it all. If you did the muted tones on all but the accent, then did a bright accent, it would be pretty awesome and good for summer (whatever that means, I have a deep purple on).

      taping is a pain in the backside. For sure. I tend to sponge my color on top, and my stripes stay pretty crisp when I pull up the tape.

    Your mani is pretty - I am glad you only did one nail with the saran. I like the way the clean stripes set off the accent nail - if you do the whole mani in one busy design, it just becomes one big boring jumble!
