Glittering Moons

promotional samples ahead

After all the neon madness, I needed something a little mellow on my fingers. I had just picked up a new (to me) Sinful Colors polish, and I knew I had to do something with it. But...it had to be a teeny bit loud.

I think I like "half-moons" on me only when they are very very tiny. I don't know if it is my nail shape or what, but any further down the nail plate, and I feel like it gives me sausagey fingers. Not the best look I ever saw, for sure. But the tiny little glitteriness here makes me feel glam and refined. I ought to be drinking champagne out of crystal flutes...and not drinking coffee from a fifteen year old mug.

  1. Very elegant. Good point about the half-moons, sometimes less is more. I love these colors, too, since I'm sort of obsessing over blurples and periwinkles lately.

    1. Ugh I KNOW. I am obsessed with all these dusty, tranquil shades. I can't get enough.

  2. I like them! I wish my nails were as long and perfect as yours. I can't pull off a lot of looks because of my stubby little nails.

    1. you just have to find the right shape. I was trying to do the long moons, and it just looked awful. Maybe more oval and less circles for you?

  3. I'm like you and only like half moons when they are tiny like this on myself. You did a very beautiful job on them, I love the accent glitter polish.
