Pink polish is one of those polarizing things. For some reason, people seem to pick this shade as the dividing line...as if you can't be "cool" if you like pink. Well...I promise that you can. I love pink polish and I am super cool. Thank the heavens that Glam Polish is on the right side of this debate...otherwise we wouldn't have this amazing trio! Even if you are only a weekend pink enthusiast, this collection will have the shade for you.
Crystal Couture
First up is Crystal Couture. It is a rosy colored glitterbomb with holo glitter and a holo flare. I only needed two coats (yes, just two) plus a layer of the Magic Shine topper for the pictures below. There is this amazing electric iris-pink shift that is just crazy. It really sets this apart from all the other glitter polishes out there. There is no way this color could ever be called average. And while it is very opaque in two coats, I think a careful hand could use this as a glitter topper as well. I'd love to see this over a teal/medium blue shade...I did just pick up a nice endless blue...
Heart Breaker
Heart Breaker is a perfect lipstick-pink ultra-holo shade filled with little gold flakes. The shade leans red, which makes this a very grown-up and respectable explosion of awesome. This is, for me, the most day-to-day wearable of the collection. I always feel very sophisticated when wearing shades like this. It is feminine and strong...and makes me happy. The perfect formula doesn't hurt either. I only needed two coats topped with a thin layer of Magic Shine for the pictures below.
It's A Secret
This polish should never be a secret. It is a lavender tinged pink filled with multichrome flakies drowning in a dense holo rainbow. When I first spied this polish, I worried that those flakes would never translate to my nail easily...and I would be fishing and dabbing for hours. I have never, ever, ever, ever been so glad to be wrong. Two relaxed passes with the brush and I had an opaque finish with a suspiciously even dispersal of flakes. I followed up with a thin layer of the Magic Shine, and I was ready for trouble...if by "trouble" I meant "watching Bones in my pajamas while knitting". I live an exciting life.
I recommend that you run, not walk, to your nearest computer and begin stalking these polishes. The trio should be available soon, and I am not sure of the number of bottles available. At the very least, you need Heart Breaker...though It's A Secret is unique too...and that shift on...OK, you know what? Just get them all. You won't be sad.
